Welcome! You have found an innovative community project that is working to improve how people experience dying, caregiving, death, and bereavement. We focus on community-based research and public engagement to foster social change.

Life's End Institute: Missoula Demonstration Project has helped over 200 communities nationwide in their own efforts to improve end-of-life care. Our community-based research tools, products, and consultation packages have been used by many of them.

Missoula's Caring Circles helps to improve the lives of family caregivers and those in their care. Find out how you can volunteer or learn to be a team leader of a caring circle. Not in Missoula? Learn about the national Support Team Network.
Choices Bank
Life's End Institute and nine western Montana partners have developed the Choices Bank, a secure Web site holding advance directives for health care. The Choices Bank also offers facilitators who can guide individuals and groups through the advance care planning process.
